scorpion low flareHammer is always looking at adding balls to the line to fill gaps and make it the game’s most versatile and complete line. Low flare cores have been a staple for Hammer, and currently, the Envy Tour balls are extremely popular, but we haven’t had a symmetric low flare in a while. We are excited to add the Scorpion Low Flare to the lineup. Removing the flip puck from the LED 3.0 core found inside the Scorpion Sting lowered the differential and flare potential, making this ball a perfect fit for Hammer. The Scorpion Low Flare will be a smooth and predictable ball motion, driven by the core numbers and the Semtex Hybrid cover, finished at 2000 Siaair. All styles will love the Scorpion Low Flare; higher rev rates will use it on anything, and lower rev rate players will find it useful on tricky conditions, and when the lanes are transitioning, either way, you won’t want to show up to bowling without one.

effectThe new Hammer Effect is unlike any other; it is the first ball to be poured in four colors. The gorgeous appearance isn’t the only thing that will turn heads; the Hammer Effect’s clean and aggressive mid-lane and backend performance is unparalleled in the High Performance category. The Hammer Effect introduces a new core shape called Huntsman and has physical features that will remind you of other famous Hammer balls like the Vibe and Black Widow, creating optimum performance on the lanes. Along with the new core, we’ve upped our HK22 game with this new version that takes responsiveness to the next level. Once you see what the Hammer Effect does on the lanes, you’ll want HK22 – Cohesion Pearl to be used more and more.

black pearl urethane

Hammer has been the undisputed urethane champion in bowling since the Purple Pearl Urethane’s introduction, and we are excited to carry that title through the new phase of harder urethane bowling balls. Since the PBA announced its rule change, only allowing urethane balls to be 78D or harder, our chemists and lab rats have been working hard producing the now famed NU Blue Hammer and the new 78 hardness Black Pearl Urethane. The Black Pearl Urethane is reminiscent of the Purple Pearl Urethane, but the hardness makes it a little cleaner and hooks slightly less overall than the Purple Pearl. Our pros who have tested the Black Pearl Urethane see this ball four boards less with their feet and two boards with their eyes and were able to use straighter angles through the front part of the lane.

nu blue hammerHammer is excited to introduce a revolutionary ball – actually a game-changer for bowlers seeking alternatives to traditional urethane ball reaction. With recent changes to PBA rules regarding traditional urethane, Hammer took on the challenge of producing a ball that would mimic the performance attributes of the famous Purple Pearl Urethane Hammer without using urethane… and we nailed it. The NU Blue Hammer is “not urethane” but delivers a urethane ball motion. It is versatile, smooth, consistent, and predictable, making it ideal for challenging lane conditions. Bowlers will experience all the advantages of a reactive ball that can be used in any competition while benefiting from the classic Purple Pearl Urethane ball motion that has dominated the lanes for years.

hazmat

Hammer is proud to offer the broadest range of core and cover options in bowling. We are excited to enhance the product line by adding a “big” shiny symmetric ball, the Hazmat. The Hazmat is a lower RG and higher Differential core that will help the ball pick up in the mid-lane and have a strong and continuous down-lane motion. The base cover is the extremely popular and highest-performing HK22, and we’ve used the Symtex Hybrid additives. The core and cover combination of the Hazmat creates a big hooking and never quitting ball motion that bowlers love to see.
